Eligibility
Medical
MBBS or its equivalent degree recognized by the BMDC
One year internship.
BDS or its equivalent degree recognized by the BMDC
Veterinary Medicine
Non-MedicalĀ
4 years of University education with 2nd class (or equivalent GPA Grade) in Nutrition, Home Economics (Nutrition Group), Biochemistry and Zoology with 2nd class (or equivalent GPA Grade) from a recognized University or BDS or its equivalent degree recognized by the BMDC.
Assessment
Assessment will take place in 1st week of January and 1st week of July in each academic session or at a date fixed by appropriate authority on recommendation of the Dean of Faculty of post- graduate Medical sciences and Research.
Formative assessment will take account of performance in written assignment during the course and / or assessment at the conclusion of study units and residential field visits as well as the final examinations.
University examinations (summative) for the all courses will be divided into two parts. The Part-I Examination will be conducted at the end of initial six months of the course. The Part-II examination will be conducted at the end of the second six months of the course and will cover subjects taught and research work done during Part-II.
Fees
Tuition fees for all MPhil Courses will be TK.2, 65,000/- (Two Lac Sixty Five Thousand) and for the all MPH courses will be TK.1, 95,000/- (One Lac Ninety Five Thousand ) only for Bangladeshi candidates. The Tuition fees may be paid in installments. Students from countries other than Bangladesh will pay tuition fees in foreign exchange equivalent to US$ 5400/ (for MPhil) and US$ 4500/ (for MPH) only. Tuition fees once deposited will not be refundable.
